After closely following the official recommendations and safety measures by the World Health Organization and Latvian health authorities in the situation of the global pandemic of COVID-19, the organizers of FrontCon have made the difficult decision to postpone FrontCon 2020 from April to later this Summer.
On 11.03.2020 WHO declared the COVID-19 to have reached a pandemic level and on 12.03.2020 Latvian health authorities have expanded the list of countries from where to avoid travelling, as well as encouraged to limit the organization of mass events.
Up until the very last moment, we were hoping that this drastic step won’t have to be taken but the health and safety of our speakers, attendees and staff have to come first.
Having spent many months preparing for the conference with our team, speakers, sponsors and event partners, we’re genuinely upset and disappointed not to be able to host you at this time.
We fully intend to host FronCon 2020 later this summer and we will keep you updated about the new dates of the conference as soon as it’s confirmed.
We sincerely hope that this is the right decision at this moment and your health and safety are also the first priority for yourself.
All the purchased conference tickets will be valid on the rescheduled dates. We are working on rescheduling of the event and will announce the new dates as soon as the situation has stabilized. Stay tuned and follow the updates!
